Multi Day Classes

In multi-day class, students will meet with the teacher multiple day(s) per week at a scheduled time over video chat. This is great for students for interacting with diverse classmates from other states and countries. Our Multi-Day Classes are usually 5-12 weeks long.

What Is in My Food: Nutrition and Food Science will introduce learners to how ingredients will impact the texture and nutritional value of your food.

Exploring the World of Food: A Tween's Introduction to Food Science

This course teaches learners about the science behind the food we eat, from understanding the different types of food that we consume, and food safety to the process of food production

Living Healthy: The Importance of Hygiene, Nutrition, and Fitness

Learn about the components of good health with hygiene, nutrition, and fitness.

Flexible Schedule Classes

In a Flexible schedule course, there are no live video chats. The course content is uploaded to the classroom forum. Students are able to interact with the teacher and other students enrolled in the classroom forum. This is great if your student prefers independent pacing or is uncomfortable with live video chat.

Introduction to Nutrition for Preteens

Introduction to Nutrition for Preteens will delve into the basic food groups, how our bodies digest and use food, the importance of water and fiber in our diet, food labels, GMOs and the processing of food.

Nutrition for Sport and Athletic Performance for Preteens

In this course, we will be discussing common misconceptions about sports nutrition, nutrient timings, food groups, and healthy eating

Living Healthy: The Importance of Hygiene, Nutrition, and Fitness

Living Healthy is divided into 3 units of 4 weeks; Personal Hygiene, Nutrition, and Fitness. Every week your student will complete their health lesson using the links to videos, handouts, quizzes, self-assessments and more.

The Importance of Nutrition and Physical Activity w/ Hands-on Experiments

Students will learn how to eat a healthy and balanced diet, understand nutrition labels, be sugar smart and learn the importance of breakfast and physical activity.

Our courses are hosted on Outschool, a safe and interactive online platform that allows students to explore topics they’re passionate about in a supportive and engaging environment. Each class is led by a certified nutritionist and experienced educator, who will guide students through lessons, activities, and discussions.
